La casa GG, ubicada en el borde de un barranco se aísla a sí misma de los vecinos y se abre hacía el paisaje de la barranca. Mientras que sus cualidades térmicas y acústicas se suman a la comodidad de la casa, son su densidad y textura las que construyen la experiencia del recorrido que conecta el umbral con el paisaje. Bloques artesanales hechos en sitio son la idea central de la exploración de la casa. El núcleo del módulo, el bloque, se lleva al límite para configurar diferentes celosías, entradas de luz, señales táctiles y techos acústicos, sin embargo, permite la posibilidad de ser moldeado con facilidad.

GG House, located on the edge of a ravine, turns inward to distance itself from neighboring properties while opening fully toward the ravine landscape. While its thermal and acoustic qualities contribute to the comfort of the house, it is the density and texture of its materiality that shape the spatial experience of the sequence connecting the threshold to the landscape. Handcrafted blocks made on site are the central idea behind the house’s exploration. The core module—the block—is pushed to its limits to configure various screens, light inlets, tactile surfaces, and acoustic ceilings. At the same time, it retains the capacity to be easily molded and adapted.
